Moving to 71B, Reynolds Street

Welcome to our new little house in Balmain, overlooking Punch Park. Unfortunately we have no Harbour Bridge views anymore, but this is more than compensated by the space in the house and the interesting design. We still have a spare room, so for those who haven't been yet, we are still waiting, for those who have been already, a new reason to come, ;-).
We are moving on Friday, so no Skype anymore until we're back from Europe (mid April)...

Walking ...

Another milestone ... Juleen takes her real first steps, almost just in time to walk down the aisle with auntie Francisca & uncle Thomas at their wedding, in 4 weeks time.

Great news from Belgium : Mathieu & Isabelle welcomed their 3rd child - a baby boy called Victor, and Filip & Kathleen now have a daughter and a son, with the birth of Tibo.

Monday week ago, we got the 'great' news from our landlords we had exactly 4 weeks to move out of the house, as they wanted to sell the property. It did not help Frederik is going through the most busy time ever at work and we are preparing our trip to Europe. Luckily we found a place last weekend and finally negotiated the contract. We are moving next Thu/Fri and have one weekend to unpack. The Wednesday after we are already leaving to come to Belgium...so please bear with us if we are a bit tired when we come home, ;-). Also, our internet connection will be down from Thu 16th for about a month, so please contact us on work e-mail.

Juleen meets Nemo

Dit weekend hebben we voor het eerst het Sydney Aquarium bezocht, met een geschenk bon van Steven en Elsje (nogmaals ongelooflijk bedankt!). We hebben gefietst tot Darling Harbour en konden dan een rij van 30 families voorbij steken dankzij de pre-paid voucher. Het was een heel leuke ervaring vooral ook voor Juleen, die zo gefascineerd alle vissen van dichtbij kon volgen en ze allen probeerde aan te raken. Voor babies van die leeftijd een betere aanrader dan de zoo...
