We visited our Belgian friends T & E in Greenwich (London), with their 2 girls Ella and Caitlin. Wonderful for Juleen to know 2 other Flemish speaking girls, who also love to be Mega Mindy!

Trip to the Design Museum

Gabrielle organised a very busy week for J&J and they ventured to the Design Museum on Friday. Quite a challenge with 2 kids, 1 pram and only 1 pair of hands, but people have proven very helpful and proposed to help without even asking. J and J have had a blast of a day!

Mega-Juleen

A new daily routine thanks to Mamie (outfit) and Meme Natje (music)! Juleen loves to dress-up like the new female, Belgian super-hero 'Mega Mindy' and is dancing, jumping and flying higher then ever.

Welcome nanny Gabrielle!

We are so happy we have found another fantastic nanny! We are not sure how we got so lucky again, as we have found her in just 5 days and no agency involved, guess we have to thank www.gumtree.co.uk, ;-) . Gabrielle is a primary school teacher from New-Zealand and is for a couple of years in London with her Kiwi partner Simon. It makes the transition from Sydney to London so much smoother for us, as we're still used to the accents and daily stories from Down Under...seems like we've got a lot in common, ;-)

Juleens Butterfly Birthday Bash

And yes, Juleen is 3 years old today! And we had a visit from Peter Pieter and Ella (just back from Brasil), which made the day even more special for all of us!

A beautiful Sunday morning walk

We went to Dulwich woods for a nice morning walk and then lunch - only 20min drive from where we live and you can't believe this is still London...

Welcome visit Augustin

Juleen and I went to Belgium for the day to welcome most gorgeous baby Augustin.

And finally I have become the very proud godmother of baby Augustin, born yesterday 21st January (3.25kg). Nathalie has done extremely well with a natural birth and is recovering well. Nonkel Scallie is happier than ever... Huge congratulations to both of them!

Ready for baby ballet

It made me really sad to realize that today was my last ballet session with Juleen. We had our usual babycino after the class and I wasn't sure whether to smile or to cry - so intensely happy with our 2 healthy happy bubbies that are growing much quicker than we can believe - so sad that this is the end of this most beautiful era. But it's also a start of a new beginning - and yes, Monday back to work at Coca-Cola in London, which I am looking forward to. And the arrival of our nanny Gabrielle from New-Zealand, yay!!
